The SCUBA divers began harvesting this past week at the Chateaugay Lake boat launch. Conditions were breezy and cool, with little boat traffic to hamper the divers. They removed 147 bags (about 3,675 pounds) of the invasive plant – a good haul and similar to the first week last year. The divers will continue to work in the Narrows next week to clear the boating lane to the Upper Lake.
